Summer Programs - Grades 3-5, 6-8 & 9-12

AEC’s Summer Programs are directed by NJ certified teachers and professional counselors who provide weekly small group instruction in academics, college preparation, enrichment activities and social/emotional well-being.

Our academic courses for grades 3-5 and 6-8 are presented in a fun summer format designed to both entertain and teach.  Students will gain a preview of the upcoming year’s curriculum in the key areas of science, math, language arts, social studies and foreign languages and will solidify PARCC core concepts so students return to school with a significant advantage.  Enrichment classes allow for additional student growth through the utilization of mind building activities such as robotics, chess, mock trials and academic strategies.  All classes are available both on an individual basis and as a package

Our college preparation division targets the needs of college bound students in grades 9-12 through PSAT and SAT courses as well as private tutorials in addition to financial advising and college coaching services.

Of course, our goal always remains to provide students with a sense of well-roundedness and this means also addressing any social or emotional needs through our counseling division which offers social skills groups and/or individual counseling specifically designed to meet your family’s needs. Because we believe in giving back to the community, this year we have launched a community service event to offer “at cost” sessions with our clinical psychology intern on a limited basis (contact our office for details and availability).
